after watching the recipe do hit the like button and press the bell icon to get the notification of new recipe. namaste, welcome to masala kitchen. today, on your request we are making this video of onion powder, pudina powder and tomato powder. since rainy season is then it is very difficult for us to dry these but still watch it and try this when sunshine is present. you have to take tomato and remove upper part. you are having two options for drying this tomatoes fruit on slice them in this manner. it is bit faster. second thing what you can do this remove the upper part and apply 4 cuts from the between without separating as shown in video, it is bit time consuming. if you dry tomatoes using 1 option, they will dry faster but you need to keep constant eye on because it gets sticked to surface. through second option it won’t stick to the surface but it will take more time for drying as they are thick. one more thing you can do is if you have OTG take, an aluminium or steel tray apply oil to it and keep tomatoes in it. bake them to 10-12 min at 180.c or 120.c so that it may loose its water. air dry it but it will take time because rainy season is their. this was all about tomato. now we will take onion. take a normal onion chop it either in long shape or very thin according to your time limits. and wrap polythene over the plate and dry the onion in sunlight. now we have pudina take the leaves of pudina dry them. do not dry them in sunlight. for drying take newspaper and keep pudina in it under fan. it will dry within one night. we do not require sunlight for pudina because in sunlight leaves of darker. but we need sunlight for rest two they are very useful. now we will grind it and make powder. you can see how fine is the powder. you can easily purchase these power either through online or shops. you can also filter it and you can make it more fine. simultaneously we can take these dries tomato and grind them for obtaining powder. you can filter this powder also and you will get this color of tomato powder. if you get more darker color or complete red color of powder that means extra color is added to it. before the same method for pudina you will get this green color as shown. you can make power of garlic, ginger and so on and make many premixes. our all the three powder are ready. you can use then for many months and keep them in air tight process. before storing them please make sure that you have labelled them with their name and date. if you like my video do hit the like button and don’t forget to subscribe.
