CHEESE BREAD | Scallions Cheese Soft Bread Recipe

125ml (1/2 cup) warm milk 25g (2 tablespoons) fine sugar 3g (1 teaspoon) instant yeast 1 large egg, beaten 250g (2 cups) all purpose flour 3g (1/2 teaspoon) fine salt 42g (3 tablespoons) soft unsalted butter I stir by hands for about 5 minutes Until form a smooth dough Cover for 90 minutes, warm place Soft and sticky dough On work surface with flour Fold and form a ball Divide into 10 Form a small ball 100g (1 cup) shredded cheddar cheese, 42g (3 tablespoons) soft butter+ scallions+garlic Flatten the dough lengthwise Spread a little of scallion butter Shredded cheddar cheese Roll to cover the cheese into an oval shape Flatten the last dough into a round shape Form a ball Place the dough ball in the center Cover and let it for 30 minutes Dab with beaten egg Slash each dough with blade/knife Top with the remaining cheese Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20 – 25 minutes Golden brown and crusty outside The cheese on top formed a nice crust Soft, fluffy, delicious!

Since I love garlic and cheese, I just had to try out this recipe, even though I was skeptical. These came out just perfect on my first try! Thank you for sharing this recipe. May I suggest that those who think the dough is too wet, use a Danish dough hook for "kneading," keep at it b/c the texture will become smooth and silky. Resist the urge to add more flour–this dough turn out such a lovely textured roll. Now I will surf the rest of the channel. Thank you again!

Hello Ninik Becker..I am watching your vid and I find out the recipe..sorry for my ignorant but I don't know what scallion butter or first time I heard about scallion butter or this true scallio butter? If so, where can you buy this, I don't know if we have this in case there is none is there a replacement for this more, how can you measure the liquid in the scale like milk or oil and water..pls. reply to make me start..thank you

  10. Sorry to say this but there is something inaccurate with the measurement. I found out that the measurement of yeast is 3g.. (1tsp) and salt is 3g.. (1/2tsp) come both 3grms were different in tsp..I don't have acale so I don't know the real measurement..please say that it is a mistake that it should be 1.5grms (1/2tsp)..sorry I noticed it..I want to follow the right tecipe..

  11. Hello Ninik..I found another measurement that you put in NOTE MY MEASUREMENTS which one is the right recipe of All purpose flour 1cup or 2cups and the mulk 1cup or 1/2cup..please let us know the right measurement so ours will exactly the same in your video picture please repky
