Welcome to Toast to Taste Today we will try a new recipe… ..chicken chop we will make chicken chop in a different way It’s a famous snack in my native place As ingredients, I have taken 100 gm boneless chicken.. ..1 medium sized boiled potato, 1 cup boiled chickpeas, 1/2 cup chopped carrot 20 peanuts, 1 medium chopped onion, ginger and garlic 1 tsp each coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper, turmeric powder, fennel seed – 1/2 tsp each, Garam Masala, Chat Masala – 1/4 tsp each, 3-4 crush cloves 2 dry red chili, salt and oil pour 2 tsp mustard oil in a hot pan saute 15-20 peanuts for 1 min Once sauteed, take them out Use the same oil to fry fennel seed.. ..add 2 dry red chilies now add 1 chopped onion fry the onion for 1-2 min after the onion is fried… add 1 tsp grated ginger and 1 tsp chopped garlic you can use ginger-garlic paste alternatively mix 100 gm chicken you can vary the quantities of the ingredients add salt to taste add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder put a lid to the pan and.. ..cook for 3-4 min in a low flame keep stirring in between Lets make a dough from flour while the chicken is being cooked Add some salt and 2 tsp refined oil.. ..to the flour and mix well add little water in between making the dough.. to make it soft Keep it aside for 10 mins Add the boiled potato after 3-4 min with the chicken Potato was already 80% boiled remaining would be completed while cooking Now add the spices to the chicken Coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper – 1/2 tsp each 1/4 tsp Garam Masala, 1 tsp Kasuri Methi and chopped carrot add some water to prevent burning I’ve used 4 tsp water Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 2-3 mins in low flame after 2-3 mins, add boiled chickpeas the ingredients seems to have boiled well add peanuts Dry the moisture in the mixture Keep stirring in between to prevent the mix from sticking to the pan add the crushed clove now one good thing about adding the cloves later is that the aroma remains put the flame out and mix the Chat Masala Let it cool down add some oil on your palm and knead the dough again make small balls out of the dough roll the ball to give flat shape don’t make it too thin or too thick add the stuffing on top of the bread Fold the flat bread the way shown fold from all sides Once folded, twist the top of the bread to cover the stuffings let’s make one more You may give a different shape though but I’ve seen this way in my native place You can fry it immediately or.. freeze it for 7-10 days as well Put the chops in hot oil they should be fried in approx 2 mins these are ready now Try the recipe at home If you liked the recipe please share and like Please subscribe my channel if you liked the video will meet again with a new recipe.
