  1. Yummm! I love Tiramisu, and I make an eggless version of it at home all the time 🙂 I'm wondering if you can just use mascarpone instead of cream cheese. Combined with whipping cream, it holds up quite well, so the filling wouldn't be too mushy…Anyway, I'm going to have to try this recipe!

  5. I am not a professional baker but when I made my tiramisu cake I didn't use cream cheese, instead I used mascarpone cheese. It was very delicious.

Dear Natasha, just made this cake and tried it so yummy…just as I mentioned to you from my other comments that ever since i used your recipes i always have to have the first slice(s)or bite(s)…..:) thought it might be too sweet but came out just perfect and the beauty of the strong coffee and rum oh my did enhance the taste of the cake..thank you and thank you and thank you to you the master chef…

  8. This is a great Italian Tiramisu cake that I’ll try. MySicilian daughter in law makes with expensive cheese, but this is exactly the same thing, and it’s a cake. Wonderful Natasha. Thank you it’s pleasure.

  9. Mascarpone vs cream cheese makes a huge difference. Cream cheese gives a sour taste. But mascarpone makes it just right. That’s the only thing I would change. I’ve done it without liquor and it was just as great.

  16. My cake turned out thin and dense !? The only thing I did different was cut the sugar down to a 1/2 cup. On one of your basic cake recipes, you added baking powder, but here you did not. Was this a mistake on this video or was it b/c I used less sugar that mine was dense? I used two round cake pans and the height of each cake turned out to only 1/2 ". I believe I beat the 6 eggs enough and not too much. Weird?!
