We always have rice. What do you do with the left over rice?
Phodnicha bhaat. So, today I will show you
‘Phodnicha Bhaat’. Here, I have taken 1 and a half cup
cooked rice. Let’s add half a tsp turmeric powder. 1 tbsp red chilly powder. Salt to taste. 2 tbsp coriander leaves. Mix this properly. Mix it so that the chilly powder
and turmeric should blend with the rice. This is properly mixed,
let’s do the tempering. We will take 4 tbsp oil. The oil is hot enough,
let’s take 1 tsp mustard seeds. Here, we have taken 10-12 cloves of crushed
garlic, let’s add that. Let the garlic become brownish in color. 2 finely chopped onions. Stir the onion a little and wait
for it to become a little soft. The onion has softened,
we’ll add the mixed rice to this. Mix this properly. This has been mixed properly, it and let it
cook in the steam for 5 minutes. Cover it with a lid. 5 minutes later. There is a nice aroma,
let’s switch the stove off. It’s done nicely, let’s remove it. Phodnicha Bhaat is ready. I had added red chilly powder to the rice.. ..but if you want, you can add 2-3 green
