Pumpkin Bundt Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe – Amy Lynn’s Kitchen

Hi everyone! Happy Thanksgiving! I’m Amy. And today I’m making a pumpkin bundt cake with cream cheese frosting. This recipe is easy to make and it’s delicious. It’s perfect for your Thanksgiving table. So let’s get started! Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees. And in a mixing bowl, add 1, 15 ounce can of pure pumpkin, 2 cups of sugar, 4 eggs and 1 cup of vegetable oil. Beat this together until it’s well combined. In another bowl, add 2 cups of flour, 2 teaspoons of baking soda, 1/2 a teaspoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice. Whisk this together. Gradually add this to your pumpkin mixture and beat together until it’s combined. Now take a bundt pan and spray it well with nonstick cooking spray. Pour the mixture into your prepared pan. Now bake this in the oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Then remove it from the oven and place it onto a wire rack. Let it cool for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan to let it cool completely. To make the cream cheese frosting… in a mixing bowl, add 6 ounces of cream cheese at room temperature. Now beat this until it’s smooth. Then add 2 cups of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Now beat this together well. Then add 1 tablespoon of milk and beat together. If the mixture is too thick to spoon over your cake you can add a little more milk to help thin it. Now spoon the frosting over your cake. And here it is… pumpkin bundt cake with cream cheese frosting! And if you like, you can decorate the top with sprinkles. For this recipe and many more, check out my website at amylynnskitchen.com. And here it is… pumpkin bump, bump, bump cake [laughing] Bump cake! [glass clink] I thought I had turned it off! And if you like, you can top it with ummm… Ugh.. And if you like, you can decorate the top with… Oh no! No! It’s not sprinkles? It’s… And here it is… pumpkin cheesecake. [laughing] Awww no! Pumpkin cheesecake? Oh, where did I get pumpkin cheesecake? You can’t see it that way.. this part? OK! [laughing] Awwww… we ate it! [laughing]

  3. Hi Amy! Any plans for thanksgiving next week Thursday? For some people do their own thanksgiving like my grandma’s house, so I don’t think my family and I not going there. Just doing own at my house in Oahu. By the way, are you looking forward to watch frozen 2 movie at the movie theatre. I’m planning to go see it next weekend after thanksgiving. On the 2nd thought, who ate the part of the cake? was it you, your mom, or somebody else? HAHA, LOL!! Too funny who ate the slice. On cream cheese frosting, poor thing you couldn’t add a 1 stick of unsalted butter at room temperature. So you just add milk instead? That’s an another idea! And are you going out for Black Friday shopping too? All the people are really crowded at the mall, and Walmart that they’re getting something to do Christmas shopping, then all of a sudden it gets complicated that some chaos people fighting each other at the mall, and Walmart in the mainland, that’s crazy if good people could get hurt or not, store staffs could call the police!! On Black Friday in Oahu hawaii, it’s much calmer and not much of fights at all. I’m not going to Black Friday because it’s too crowded. Today in Oahu hawaii is really windy and rain and could be cold, so it’s 81 degrees, and in nighttime would be 77-75 degrees. Weather getting changing so I hope you’ll get warm. Have a wonderful weekend my friend!!
