One of the most popular and atmospheric night markets in Bangkok is the new Rod Fai market located in the Ratchada area. Is it worth a visit? I think yes, and today I am going to show you why! Everyone knows that night markets are where you can find the best bargains in Bangkok. And Ratchada Night Market’s central location makes it a popular destination for both locals and tourists, so if you’re looking for a quiet evening, then this place is not for it. The market is a home to many nice bars and restaurants with awesome open roof upper floors, and some of them even have got live music and DJs. It also is a great place for shopping, and there is a lot of street vendors with good selection of clothes, souvenirs and accessories at affordable prices. But the main reason why this market is so popular is the endless rows and rows of street food stalls, so be sure to come here on an empty stomach to fill your tummy with all the snacks and tasty meals this market has to offer. All kinds of food being sold here – seafood, traditional thai desserts, BBQ meats, fruits, insects and many more. The prices are low, and sometimes I find this place is even cheaper than the Chatuchak market, however the same time it’s more crowded. I had a great time when I went there and if you are a street food lover then The Ratchada Night Maket is a must-visit for you in Bangkok. Plus it’s very easy to access. Just use the subway, exit at the Thailand Cultural Center MRT station and walk 1min from there.
